Classes are: Mega Trucks (2.5 Ton axle & Larger) & Race Trucks (anything under 2.5 Ton)
otherwise run what you brung.
National Finale Consists of 5 parts: Hill N Hole Race, Big Tire Pull, Grudge Pull, Obstacle
Course Race, & Freestyle
Functioning Braking system, Full Cage, Harnesses, mounted Fire Extinguisher all
required. Full Fire Suits are required if running alcohol injection. Make sure your rig is
safe, if anything seems unsafe you will be DQ'd, use common sense here.
Must run the same Tire for the entire competition, Must run the same weight for entire
competition.
For example, no running cut boggers for one part, then tractors for another, must pick one
tire and stay with it.
Also no adding weight for the pulling portions and removing it for the racing, we will have
scales.
We will match weights for the back to back pull, for example, lets say your rig weighs 7000
pounds, and you hook to someone that weighs 6500 pounds, we will add 500 pounds to
the lighter rig to even the weights for the Grudge Pull portion only. We will provide weights,
we suggest having a way to hang the weights off the front of the truck/rig/buggy.
Must have adjustable rear hook point, hitch heights must be matched between trucks,
some rigs are super low buggies, some are huge 60+ inch tire trucks, if your a tall truck you
better have a adjustable massive drop hitch, and it must be safe. Most trucks attach the
rear hitch point to the frame and rear axle. The link below is a picture example of the type of
hitch setup that seems to work best:
